The Staff of the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa (CHRDA) have had an in-house training session  to strengthen their data collection knowledge and on how to utilize the Kobo Toolbox to formulate effective questionnaires. This training took place on Tuesday September 2^nd 2025, at CHRDA’s office led by Mme. Judith Schicklinski of GIZ, Cameroon.  It focused on building capacity on data collection and management using Kobo Toolbox a recognized platform for the collection and analysis of data. This tool has user friendly interface which enables data collectors with basic computer skills to effectively utilize the platform, it is secure, confidential and it is adaptable.

At the end of the practical session, participants gained knowledge on how to create a Kobo Toolbox account, developing and arranging questions, text formatting, editing as well as to save and deploy files. By integrating this tool into her operations, CHRDA can further amplify impact, driving informed decision and advocacy efforts to advance human rights and democracy in Africa.
