The Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa runs an Empowerment Centre (Vocational Training Centre) under which we have the program for Internally Displaced Persons in Buea, the Southwest Region of Cameroon of 2019. We target people who have been internally displaced as a result of conflicts.

In the empowerment centre, we provide training for tailoring and intend to extend it to other fields like Information and Communication Technology (ICT), hairdressing, agriculture, etc. The sections of training are free and after which the Centre empowers the beneficiaries with basic needs and or finance for a start-up.
